Grizzlies don't play to lose...they play to WIN!!!

The Grizzlies might have had a chance at home-court advantage and an easier opponent in the first round of the playoffs if they had purposefully lost a few of their games at the end of the season. How can losing in the regular season benefit a team in the playoffs? Well, because there is a FLAW in the NBA's playoff system which will most assuredly be fixed next season. The three division winners in both conferences automatically make the playoffs and are seeded 1, 2, and 3, regardless of their record. Because of this, the third-seeded team in the West with the Grizzlies is the Denver Nuggets, which are ranked #3 simply because they are a division winner, even though they had a worse record than the 4th, 5th, and 6th seeded teams! Which means whoever wound up as the 6th seed would play them. And plus, between two opponents who are playing each other in the playoffs, whoever has a better regular season record, regardless of seeding rank, gets the home-court advantage! But the Grizz showed that they play to WIN, not to LOSE, and they had an 8-1 April, their best record ever going into the playoffs! So instead of playing Denver, the Grizz are going to play the 4th seeded Dallas Mavericks, who are a lot better team than the 3rd seeded Nuggets! Confused yet? Well, it shouldn't be so confusing next year, cause this crap should be straightened out by then. Here are me and Geneva Tuesday, at the last home game of the regular season, a game that if they had lost, might've helped them get an easier opponent in the playoffs. And coincidentally, they were playing the Los Angeles Clippers that night, the team that the Grizzlies were neck-and-neck with at the time for the 5th and 6th spots. But the Grizz WON, and that's what they're all about, buddy!!!

More than one Grizz game for me this month

The Grizz have sucked more than I wanted them too this year, so that contributed to me only going to one game a month so far this season, which is probably the fewest games I've even been to for a season by this point in the season. But this month I'm actually going to two games (not counting playoff games, if they go to the playoffs). Here's a pic of me and Geneva from the first game we went to this month.
